Bajkul Milani Mahavidyalaya Library started with the establishment of the College in the year 1964 under Calcutta University, as a Govt. Sponsored College. Initially the college had seven academic departments. After 1996 more academic departments were started and gradually the sizes and needs of the users were increased and the Library began to grow to keep pace with the rising academic needs of students, teacher and non-teaching employees. The Library was shifted to the present location in the year 2002. In the long journey from 1964 to 2019 the Library has also gone from strength to strength and updated itself to live up to the expectations of its users despite the severe financial constraints that the college has been suffering since its inception. At present the total collection is more than 27192 bk.
