Bajkul Milani Mahavidyalaya Central Library. This is an attempt to give an overview of Bajkul Milani Mahavidyalaya Central Library . Inspite of paucity of resources, shortage of staff we are striving to meet the various demands of our users by rendering various services to all our users with the combined efforts of our staff members as well as the College Authority. We are aiming to fully convert the present system of operation in our library with the help of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the near future. For this purpose we procured SOUL 2.0 software (Network Version) designed by Information and Library Network Centre (INFLIBNET), an Autonomous Inter–University Centre of UGC. Moreover, CCTV cameras have been installed. Our ultimate aim is to provide the right document/information to the right user at the right time with the help of modern technology with a careful human touch. We might have achieved little so far but hope to do more for our honorable users in future. This vision inspires us to work harder and provide the best we can every time to every user of this library.
